I was honored to be a virtual speaker for the 2022 NCEA Conference.

One of the attendees shared,

What she shows just makes sense.  I needed to hear this! This session would be a great lead-in to a new school year. The idea of not allowing our feelings drive our actions, and that changing our thoughts from negative to positive will lead to better outcomes is very powerful.  I'm actually trying to practice the method right now in dealing with an extremely toxic co-worker!

My next speaking event is in November at the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools.
This faith based association has invited me to speak on Cultivating Catholic Connections In and Out of the Classroom.

I know how it feels to doubt if you are really making a difference...

I've been an educator and ministry leader for over 26 years. I love teaching and inspiring others, but I know the struggles that come with pouring your heart and soul out into your classroom and your family. It is easy to think that you aren't doing enough and that if you work harder and give more of yourself then you can meet everyone's needs. Unfortunately, what happens is that you end up feeling exhausted, defeated and face teacher burnout. You might begin to question your calling at home and at school!

I want to share with you how I learned to be an amazing teacher, have plenty of time and energy for my family while focusing on ME being happy, healthy and holy.
